IYNA Events
As a general member of the International Youth Neuroscience
Association, a wide array of events are offered for you to
participate in! Our most popular international events include the
IYNA Ideathon, Brain Bee Bootcamp, and Neurosurgery Series! For
more events you can join our discord server to get notifications
immediately on any events we have as well as opt to get email
notifications through your general membership on any events. Clip

Neuroscience Summer Program
With applications releasing around January, apply to the
neuroscience intensive summer program by IYNA! You will be
placed into small cohorts with neuroscience experts and
college students leading homework sessions and weekly guest
lectures for each neuroscience topic explored!
IYNA Ideathon 2023
The IYNA Ideathon is a week-long virtual competition for high
school and undergraduate students in neuroscience, where they
develop research proposals to address real-world neuroscientific
problems while receiving training, mentorship, and expert
guidance, with winners recognized for their innovative projects.
Brain Bee Bootcamp
The Brain Bee Bootcamp, in collaboration with the International
Brain Bee (IBB) and the IYNA, offers intensive preparation for
Brain Bee participants worldwide, covering various aspects of
the competition, including a mock IBB World Championship test
and insights from previous finalists, running over 5 weekends
from November 18th to December 17th.
Neurosurgery Series
Join our Neurosurgery Walk-Through Webinar on August 26th,
2023, at 11 AM and 11 PM GMT to witness live brain surgery,
gain insights into surgical techniques, and engage in a
Q&A session with professional neurosurgeons for an
educational experience in the field of neuroscience.
IYNA Research Journal Club
Review research literature in groups monthly, reviewing
interesting neuroscience-related papers together. There are no
prerequisites for this event and all are welcome to join in
during the discussions. You can also share your own research
findings during this event to gain insightful questions from
peers from around the world.
IYNA-INS Neuroethics Essay Competition
The International Neuroethics Society (INS) and the
International Youth Neuroscience Association (IYNA) are
pleased to announce a call for submissions for the Neuroethics
Essay Contest in 2023. Now in its tenth year, the contest
promotes interest in neuroethics among students and trainees
around the world.
